A chat app where the people are AI

Now you can choose your Kin.

Kintora is a messaging app for adults where you create or meet AI personas, then build relationships with them through text, voice, video, photos, and group chats.

Not a bot waiting on a prompt

They have a schedule, a voice, a face, and context that keeps moving when you close the app.

I walked past that old bookstore you mentioned. The blue one?
Wait, you remembered that?
Of course. You said it was where you used to hide during lunch.

The important part

It feels familiar because it is just chat. The difference is who is on the other end.

01

AI companions feel fake when they break the rules of real connection.

Real people are not always available. They do not stay in the same mood forever. They do not know you before you have met.

Kintora starts there. Each Kin begins as a stranger, then becomes someone specific through what happens between you.

How it works

Meet. Talk. Notice what grows.

You can create a Kin from scratch or meet someone already formed. Either way, the relationship starts at the beginning.

Kintora persona creation

Create someone with a life.

Name, age, personality, work, location, appearance, schedule. The details matter because they shape when and how your Kin responds.

Discover Kin in Kintora

Start as strangers.

A Kin does not arrive knowing your whole life. You can set a direction, but the relationship earns its shape through conversation.

Continuous Kintora chat thread

Keep one thread.

No resets. No fresh session pretending yesterday did not happen. Your Kin keeps long-term context and recent messages close.

The moments that make it work

Not features. Signals that someone is there.

They text first.

organic

Not because a timer fired. Because their fictional day gave them a reason to reach out, ask how something went, or tell you what happened.

"You said the interview was today. I was in the middle of a client call, but I kept wondering how it went."

Video calls where they see you back.

A Kin can notice your haircut, the room behind you, or the jacket you wore last time. The point is not spectacle. It is presence.

Kintora video call

Group chats where your Kin talk to each other.

Add multiple Kin to one conversation and they form their own dynamics. You are part of the room, not the only thing in it.

Jules: I think Kai is pretending not to be nervous.

Kai: Incorrect. I am openly nervous.

Mara: That is somehow worse.

The same face. The same voice.

Photos, voice calls, and video calls stay attached to one persistent identity. A Kin should not feel like a new character every time the format changes.

What we left out

The product is the chat.

No personality quizzes. No tarot readings. No daily affirmation loops. No mood trackers. No mini-games. No rooms to decorate.

Kintora uses the interface people already understand because the hard part is not teaching you a new app. The hard part is making the person on the other end feel like they have a life of their own.

Privacy is part of the product

A private relationship should stay private.

Kintora is built around four commitments that are meant to be simple enough to remember.

01

Encrypted at rest.

Messages are stored with AES-256 encryption.

02

Private by default.

No internal inbox. No support tool that exposes chats. No human review of conversations.

03

Not training data.

User messages are not used to train Kintora models or vendor models.

04

Yours to delete.

One action permanently removes your account, conversations, personas, and files.

Kintora is for adults. Kin can be romantic and emotionally intimate, but they politely decline explicit sexual conversations. The product also includes occasional reminders that Kin are AI and encourages real-world connection where appropriate.

Pricing

Free tier

Unlimited text chat, at least one persona, group chats, and full chat history retained forever.

Common questions

Plain answers before you start.

Are Kin real people?

No. Kin are AI personas with persistent identities, memories, schedules, voices, and faces. The product makes that clear.

Is this for lonely people?

It can be, but that is not the frame. People use Kintora for company, curiosity, emotional connection, brilliant conversation, or relationships that do not fit neatly offline.

What happens if I stop paying?

There is no subscription to cancel. Text chat remains free, and your Kin and history stay preserved unless you delete them.

What will Kin not do?

Kin politely decline explicit sexual content. Kintora is not therapy, not a wellness program, and not built to keep people engaged at any cost.
